The city of Incas and its rainbow colors!

Today I am going to talk about my trip to Cusco, the city of Incas, and the seven color mountain. Cusco is one of the most fascinating and mystic cities that I know. It is located in a fertile valley fed by several rivers in the heart of the Central Peruvian Andes of South America. The city of Cusco has an architecture that represents the Inca urbanism showing a stone construction technology with exceptional aesthetic and structural properties.

When you visit Cusco, you feel the energy of the city and its people. The most beautiful scenarios and the blue sky are a sign that nature was very kind with this city. I have visited this city many times, and every time that I visited Cusco, I enjoyed different adventures and experienced the amazing flavors that this city offers to their visitants.

An amazing experience was visiting the rainbow mountain, also called seven color mountain, located in the middle of the Andes. The radiant colors and the tonality of the mountain make us feel that we are inside a rainbow. The mountain is also surrounded by camelids like alpacas and vicunas, a turquoise lagoon and varied fauna. In our way to the mountain, we can see different animals in danger of extinction and sometimes we can be lucky to see the flight of the majestic condor.

To reach this magnificent mountain, we must leave from Chillca in the muleteer's service, who know the area very well and will guide us to the mountain. The view of the mountain is spectacular, but we should be prepared for an intense hike of approximately two hours to reach our destinations and enjoy the majestic rainbow mountain finally.

The mountain of colors has become an important tourist attraction, visited by thousands of tourists. But we need to protect it so future generations can enjoy it. Enjoy the seven color rainbow, be responsible when you visit it and enjoy its wonderful colors!
